The Kidwell last name is synonymous with excavation work in the Kansas City construction industry, and Chris spent 20+ years honing his craft for earthwork alongside others who share his name. Over the years, he ventured out and worked with other companies. He saw construction projects from all aspects and soaked up as much knowledge as he could so he could excel on his own. Now, the proof of his hard work is in his product at KR Excavating, Inc.

Brian oversees all of KR Excavating’s jobs, making sure they go smoothly and stay on schedule. He builds relationships with contractors and clients, and believes that respect is the best way to do that—along with the fact that he’s just a really easy guy to talk to and get along with. Brian loves seeing an idea on paper turn into someone’s dream—almost as much as he loves seeing his kids play sports.

What can we say about Teri, other than she keeps us all up-to-date (and in line). She’s been in the “dirt field” for 18 years, and loves everything about it, and everything she does for KR Excavating—which is a lot, from payroll to accounting to change orders. Teri is patient and resourceful (which might come from the fact that she has raised three boys). Now an empty nester, we’d say she’s earned her downtime, which she likes to spend going to the lake and traveling Colorado.
